No matter which centre you choose, we use the same teaching material and methods. At all F+U schools you are guaranteed  a diagnostic placement test to ensure the perfect start to your language lessons.

F+U Course Guarantee
Even if the minimum number of four participants for a course is not reached, we nonetheless guarantee the course will still take place.

Language courses in the countryside.
Our weekend programmes at the F+U centres in, among others, Todtnauberg in the Black Forest, Einsiedel near Chemnitz and Pappritz near Dresden give you the opportunity to experience traditional rural Germany and Austria.

Video evenings
To improve your listening skills we offer a video evening once a week.

Free internet access
The computers in the F+U internet cafés may be used for surfing the net.

Organization of “Tandem” lessons
“Tandems” give two students the chance to meet at  regular intervals for shared activities or just for a straightforward language exchange. We will help you find the right partner. (Service only available in Heidelberg)

Commercial placement (in Göttingen and Vienna upon request)
For a fee of € 150 we can organise a placement (duration 4-8 weeks).
Please note that you require at least intermediate skills in the language.  You will not receive reimbursement from the company.  You will not be permitted to take up a placement if you require a visa.

Additional cultural activities
Berlin: Information available near the date.
Chemnitz: One culinary event every week (learn with F+U’s master chefs) upon request.
Erfurt/Weimar: Regular information about free musical events, exhibitions, city festivals and many other events,
Heidelberg: A varied leisure and cultural program will be offered every week: a welcome party, a boat trip through  the romantic Neckartal including a visit to the city with four castles Neckarsteinach, bicycle tours, hikes, trips to different companies, museums, zoological gardens and amusement parks, video nights, orientation walks through the historical city center (Altstadt) of Heidelberg, daylong trips to Speyer, Ladenburg, Schwetzingen, the Technical Museums in Sinsheim and Mannheim.

National holidays: no forfeit of lessons
• Missed lessons will be honoured and held on alternative dates.
